Actor Danny Masterson was sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison (up to life) after being found guilty of raping two women between 2001 and 2003.

According to “Consequence”, the judge opted for the maximum sentence, after the jury decided, in May, to convict him.

Masterson had been accused of rape by three women, with two managing to prove the crimes.

The “That 70's Show” actor had been arrested in 2020 and later released on bail,

after being accused of drugging and raping three women between 2001 and 2003, when he was still working on the series.

All of the victims were, like Masterson, part of the Church of Scientology.

The actor will have used his position in the church to avoid consequences for his actions.

Masterson always denied the accusations and did not attend the trial. He can apply for parole in 2053, when he is 77 years old.

One of the protagonists of the series “Que Loucura de Família“ (“That 70's Show”) was found guilty of raping two women within the Church of Scientology. The sentence provides for a prison sentence that, at the limit, could reach life.
